Dear ... (Tên người bạn nước ngoài)
How do you do now? Still have good?
It's Vietnameses' Tet already so i want to tell you some about this special holiday.
Tet is the first day of the year but on the lunar calendar, so it comes on different time each year. This year, it comes quiet late, that makes me so excited to enjoy the holiday.
We have our activities to do on this holiday. As the tradition, we make Chung cakes and Sticky rice.
Chung cakes are made of rice, pork, and some beans with pepper. We wrap them on the leaves and cook them. It's really nice, you should try some.
There're many festivals in my country on Tet. In my area, we have Va temple so there's Va festival too (we often named the festivals after the place held it). Many people come to wish for the happy, sucessful year next...
There are many other things I want to teel you but I don't know much about the Tet in the South, I will find out more and tell you on the next letter.
So can you tell me about the New Year in your country? I want to know that, it might be interesting.
With love,
(kí tên)
