“Go on! My daughter! You may win the prize in the beauty contest”, mother said. (use encourage)
“Curse the zip fastener. It is stuck again.” He said. (dùng từ gì để viết câu reported speech đây?)
“Uhg. There is a slug in my salad, waiter.” The customer said. (use complain)

* “Why are you moving?” – “Because our new house has…..space than the old one”
a. a lot of more b. a lot more c. of more d. little more
(nhưng tai sao lại chọn câu b?)

Câu nè nhìn thì có vẻ không đơn giản nhưng thực ra rứt là đơn giản.
Và nó đơn giản ở chỗ bạn có thể viết lại như thế này :

My mother encouraged me to enter/ participate in/ take part in the beauty contest.




“Curse the zip fastener. It is stuck again.” He said. (dùng từ gì để viết câu reported speech đây?)

Câu này, highly recommended thôi nhớ Không chắc đâu T.T


He told me to curse the zip fastener because It was stuck again.


“Uhg. There is a slug in my salad, waiter.” The customer said. (use complain)


The customer complained to the waiter of/ about the slug in his salad / complained that there was a....

(nhưng tai sao lại chọn câu b?)


Câu B nghe cái a lot more có vẻ bệnh bệnh (weird) nhưng buồn một nỗi là nó quá hợp văn cảnh cho câu nè.

a lot more là một idiom , nó có chung nghĩa với much more (nhiều hơn nhiều ), ghép nghĩa vào thấy ổn không cần chỉnh .
