Tớ có vài kinh nghiệm nhỏ về dạng này:
COULD là dạng quá khứ của can: Không phụ thuộc vào S, diễn tả khả năng qua luyện tập học hỏi lâu dài-> bền
WAS/WERE ABLE TO là quá khứ be able to: phụ thuộc vào S, diễn tả khả năng không qua luyện tập( tức thời)-> không bền.
can ,could và be able to được dùng để chỷ khả năng ,ai đó có thể làm đựoc j đó.Khi nói về khả năng của 1 ngừoi chúng ta thường dùng can ,ở dạng phủ định là can't ở thj hiện tại , could hay could't ở quá khứ và will be able to ở thj tương lai.
ex: - Joy can swim 1,000 metres now.
- Last year she couldn't swim at all
- She'll be able to swim the English Channel soon.
Khj nói về hạnh động cụ thể trong 1 tình huống ,hoàn cảnh đặc biệt ở quá khứ chúng ta không dùng could mà dùng was/were able to .
ex: The boat was in difficuties ,but in the end it was able to reach the port .
Can /could còn được dùng khi chúng ta yêu cầi ai đó làm 1 việc j đó.
ex: Can you wait for a moment.

6) he says a kitchen is suitable to play(câu này hơi khó hiểu nên tớ không chắc lắm)
7) the exercises are so difficulf that we can't do them(câu này trong đề hình như bạn thiếu 'do' hay sao ý)
8) Not only is Hanh pretty, but also she clever (hay ''Hanh not only is pretty, but also she clever'' )
9) where are the children's toys ?
