A dream come true
When I was little, I used to have a dream. That was catching a really big fish. I have always thought about that dream and told myself that I would try to do it in the future. Since I am an adult, I have realized that catching a big fish is not so easy that a person can do. Fortunately, last Sunday I have a chance to fulfill my childhood dream.
It was a beautiful Sunday morning, my dad excitedly said: “We are going fishing today”. My mom and I was surprised at that news because my dad had never gone fishing before. We still agreed with my dad’s opinion because we are keen on new experiences. After 15 minutes, we went to a river where was not far from my house. Although my dad taught carefully how to fish I felt nervous and excited because it was my first time try fishing
As time went by, the longer I waited, the more patience I lost. Because I got nothing but some plastic bags or let small fish out of my bait. While I was about to give up, the fishing rod in my hand was suddenly shaking hard “ Did I catch a big fish ?” I asked questions in my mind and hopes that my guess was right. “ Oh yes, I got a huge fish, come over here to help me, dad”. My dad heard me shouting then rushed to the riverside to help me pull out of the big fish.
My mom and my dad were shocked by what I caught. The feeling of catching the big fish was the same as the feeling of winning the first prize in the lottery game I guess. It’s fantastic!
