Chị nghĩ câu này là familiar with.
Phân biệt một xíu thì be familiar with sth là quen thuộc, biết rõ cái gì còn be familiar to sb là trở nên quen thuộc với ai.
VD: The topic of the discussion was familiar to most of the pupils.

Ở vế sau chị nghĩ là of hoặc by. Nếu of thì có nghĩa là những truyện ngắn của ông này, còn by thì có nghĩa là những truyện ngắn được viết bởi ông này ( thực ra là cũng như nhau :0 )

Books on science cung oke nè.
