A HUMOROUS INCIDENT
There was once a foreigner who went to England to learn English. He met two women who were talking, but did not know what they were talking about. However, he caught the word "Yes" and saw the woman bowing. He kept this word in mind and kept repeating it to himseft.
He want to get a taxi, but he got into a private car instead. The driver refused to take him by saying" No" during which he return his head. The foreigner thought that he had learnt another word and once again the same process as before took place in his mind.
A beggar followed him and asked for a coin. He generously gave the beggar what he wanted. The begger said "thank you" and bent over politely. The foreigner did as the beggar has done.
He went into a shop to buy something. A boy carelessly broke the glass of a counter and ran away. The shopkeeper thought the foreigner was the culprit and called for a policeman. The foreigner was asked: " Was the glass broken by you?" The first word entered his mind and he said "yes", bowing.
He was asked again: "Do you wish to pay for the broken glass?"-"No" replied the foreigner shaking his head. He was then sentence to ten day's imprisonment, and to this, the foreigner said "thank you", bending down politely.
