"A" đứng vị trí thứ nhất và "A" là chữ cái đầu tiên của chữ "After". Cho nên After + hành động thứ nhất.
Trước tiên: Alex had gone to bed.
Sau đó': He couldn't sleep.

Trước tiên: Jessica had cooked dinner.
