Exercise 1: Rewrite the following sentences as directed
1. If Germany were to beat Romania, they would face Italy in the final.(using inversion with Were)
2.If she were rich, she would buy a villa. ( using inversion with Were)
3. If I won a big prize in a lottery, I would build a school for the poor.
->Unless....
4.Without the rain, they could not have such good crop.( if)
5. If I didn't say sorry, I wouldn't be here.(otherwise)
6.If it weren't for the view, this would be a lovely room.( But for)

Câu 4: weren't for the rain ---> didn't rain ( câu này em hông chắc)

Câu số 2 có "to" hay không có "to" cũng không thành vấn đề gì
Đảo ngữ điều kiện loại 2 không cần "to" khi mệnh đề "if" có động từ tobe "were" và sau nó là một tính từ hoặc một danh từ
Ví dụ:
If they were stronger, they could lift the table.
=> Were they stronger, they could lift the table
Câu số 4 dùng "weren't for" cũng được, theo cách của bạn cũng ổn, hoặc sử dụng cấu trúc There + be + N (có)
