-Asian cultures have a collectivist culture which means that they value the thoughts of others more than their own. -Asians are often stereotyped as being more reserved in their emotions and less expressive about their feelings. -They also have a strong sense of honor and respect for their elders. -The Asian culture values collective unity, social conformity and collectivism.	-Western cultures are more individualistic, which means that people value their own thoughts and opinions more than the thoughts of others. -Westerners are often considered to be more open and emotional. -In Western cultures, there is less emphasis on family and elders. -The Western culture values individuality, freedom and creativity.

Actually, there are not many similarities between the western and Asian cultures due to the difference relating to the long history. However, regarding some aspects like the belief in their religion or tendency towards love and happiness, they somehow share some same things. For instance, it can not be denied that both people from two cultures always show high respect for their beliefs and often nurture their offspring to behave the same way as they do. In addition, even though the religions or beliefs of two cultures bear little resemblance, nonetheless, almost all their goals are to help people live better and more happily
