

CAN COMPUTER MEASURE HAPPINESS?
In a fascinating study, researchers asked volunteers to rate words in the English language from one to nine on a “scale of happiness”. Words associated with feeling good (1) ______ scored highly: “laughter”, for example, received a score of 8.5 on the scale, (2) ______ words connected with sadness didn’t score well at all.
