Ở câu D "as a result" = 'therefore",vì vậy,câu đó sẽ đúng nếu "She got so tired of waiting for him , as a result , she got married to another man."
(phân biệt as a result và as a result of nhé)

Xét câu D. ta thấy đề bài không phải mệnh đề chỉ kết quả => không thể sử dụng as a result. => Loại D.

Mình muốn hỏi bạn một chút tại sao bạn có thể suy ra câu gốc không phải mệnh đề chỉ KQ.
Hơn thế nữa at the end là điểm kết thúc của một quá trình và chúng ta thường thấy ng ta sử dụng at the end of sth. Còn in the end là cuối cùng thì => chỉ kết quả của quá trình

Hi. Thực ra là mình cũng chỉ dịch sơ và đoán đề thôi! Mình đã xem lại và thấy câu đề là mệnh đề chỉ NN-KQ. Cho nên cách giải thích của bạn trên về đáp án D là đúng.
Về câu A, ‘at the end’ sử dụng để chỉ một hành động nào đó xảy ra vào lúc một việc nào đó kết thúc, được nhấn mạnh về thời gian; còn ‘in the end’ lại nhấn mạnh về kết quả của quá trình. Vậy nên ta vẫn có thể sử dụng ‘at the end’ để chỉ một việc nào đó xảy ra khi một việc khác đã kết thúc nha! (Tired of waiting…-> married another man).
