1. In the modern world, migration from rural areas and small towns to large cities are commonplace today.
2. Cause: Although this causes serious problems for the environment, economy and society, most people still move to the city because of the variety of facilities and opportunities.

• First of all, big cities have all the necessary and modern means for every aspect of life. For example, schools in cities are equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, libraries and teaching aids. Therefore, students may be eligible to study.
• Secondly, there are more places to enjoy and relax in cities than in small towns. People in cities can see many luxury and beautiful hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and movie theatres while in the countryside, small restaurants or markets are often seen. Since everyone wants to have a better and more comfortable life, they continue to migrate to big cities.
• Thirdly, larger cities have more opportunities for learning and work. The young generation has big ambitions. To realize his dream, many young people choose to go to college. Therefore, the major cities, where most universities locate, are the best places for those who want to be highly educated.
• Moreover, in a busy life, as competitions between companies are getting tougher, the demands of employees in urban areas are increasing rapidly. So people not only have the opportunity to find a job but also have more options to decide on the most suitable job for themselves.
