John không thể thích nghi được với thời tiết lạnh.

John không thể thích nghi được với thời tiết lạnh.

Nếu bạn nói như thế thì mình có cách dịch khác (vậy là thiếu chữ "being" )

John isn't used to being the cold weather​

Mình dịch là: "John vẫn chưa quen với thời tiết lạnh"

Theo như mình biết thì "be used to" diễn tả một thói quen trong hiện tại, do đó mình nghĩ khi dịch thêm từ "quen" vào cho chắc ăn. Vả lại câu này lại là 1 câu phủ định (có "not") nên mình dịch là "vẫn chưa quen" (did not use to thì mình dịch là "không quen") tại vì sự việc vẫn đang ở trong hiện tại và có thể thay đổi trong tương lai (có thể sau này thằng John sẽ thích nghi). Mình nghĩ bạn dịch không chuẩn xác lắm Tất nhiên chúng ta vẫn có thể dịch là "vẫn chưa thích nghi"

John không thể thích nghi được với thời tiết lạnh.

Mình lại thấy 2 câu này chả có gì khác nhau cả, và theo ngữ cảnh thì dịch là "chưa thích nghi" sẽ hợp hơn.
