1. Tính từ đi với giới từ "ABOUT"

ANXIOUS ABOUT (lo lắng về) E.g. He seems anxious about the meeting.	CONCERNED ABOUT (quan tâm, lo ngại về) E.g. People in this city are deeply concerned about environmental issues.
CONFUSED ABOUT/ AT/ BY (bối rối, lúng túng) E.g. People are confused about all the different labels on the food these days.	EXCITED ABOUT/AT (hào hứng) E.g. The children were very excited about opening their presents.
SORRY ABOUT (xin lỗi về) E.g. We're really sorry about the damage to your car.	CURIOUS ABOUT (tò mò về) E.g. They were very curious about the people who lived upstairs.

BAD AT (tệ, không giỏi về) E.g. She is so bad at keeping secrets.	CLEVER AT (khéo léo, tài giỏi) E.g. She is clever at getting what she wants.
EXPERT AT/ IN (rất giỏi về, chuyên gia trong) E.g. She is expert at making cheap but stylist clothes.	GOOD AT (giỏi về) E.g. He's very good at finding cheap flights.

FAMOUS FOR (nổi tiếng về) E.g. He became internationally famous for his novels.	GRATEFUL FOR (biết ơn về) E.g. We would be grateful for any information you can give us.
READY FOR (sẵn sàng cho) E.g. I was twenty years old and ready for anything.	RESPONSIBLE FOR (chịu trách nhiệm về) E.g. Mike is responsible for designing the entire project.
SORRY FOR (xin lỗi về) E.g. He says he's really sorry for taking the car without asking.	SUITABLE FOR (phù hợp với) E.g. This program is not suitable for children.

ENGAGED IN /ON (bận rộn làm gì) E.g. He is now engaged in his second novel.	INTERESTED IN (quan tâm, thích) E.g. I'm very interested in history.
INVOLVED IN (có liên quan tới) E.g. We need to examine all the goods involved in the campaign first.	SUCCESSFUL IN/AT (thành công) E.g. They were successful in winning the contract.

AFRAID OF (lo sợ, sợ hãi) E.g. Are you afraid of spiders?	ASHAMED OF (xấu hổ) E.g. She was deeply ashamed of her behaviour at the party.
AWARE OF (nhận thức được) E.g. She was aware of people looking at her.	CAPABLE OF (có khả năng) E.g. He's capable of lying to get out of trouble.
FOND OF (thích) E.g. She's really fond of telling people what to do.	FRIGHTENED OF (sợ) E.g. I'm really frightened of walking home alone in the dark.
INDEPENDENT OF (độc lập) E.g. The children should be independent of their parents when they are old enough.	PROUD OF (tự hào về) E.g. He was proud of himself for winning first prize in the contest.
TIRED OF (mệt mỏi/chán nản với) E.g. She was tired of hearing about their trip to India.

6. Tính từ đi với giới từ "TO"

ADDICTED TO (nghiện) E.g. He's addicted to computer games.	COMMITTED TO (tận tâm) E.g. Teachers should be committed to educating their students.
ENGAGED TO (đính hôn với) E.g. She is engaged to a man she has known for only two weeks.	OPPOSED TO (phản đối) E.g. She remained bitterly opposed to the idea of changing the uniform.
RELATED TO (liên quan tới) E.g. The topic girls normally talk about is related to boys.	SIMILAR TO (tương tự với) E.g. Her style is similar to mine.

7. Tính từ đi với giới từ "WITH"

ANGRY WITH sb (ABOUT/FOR sth) (tức giận ai (vì điều gì)) E.g. I was angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake.	ANNOYED WITH sb (ABOUT sth) (bực ai (vì điều gì)) E.g. He was beginning to get very annoyed with me about my carelessness.
BORED WITH (chán) E.g. The children quickly got bored with staying indoors.	BUSY WITH (bận rộn với) E.g. Kate is busy with her homework.
CROWDED WITH (đông đúc) E.g. In the spring the place is crowded with skiers.	SATISFIED WITH (hài lòng với) E.g. I'm never satisfied with what I've got.

NOTE: Một số tính từ có thể đi với nhiều giới từ một số có ý nghĩa khác đi, số khác vẫn giữ nguyên ý nghĩa. Các em có thể ghi nhớ các trường hợp sau:

- Angry with sb: cáu gắt với ai
- Angry about/ for sth: cáu gắt về điều gì
- Concerned about: Quan tâm
- Concerned for: Lo lắng
- Engaged in/on sth: Bận rộn
- Engaged to sb: đính hôn với ai
- Confused about/ at / for: băn khoăn
- Excited about/ at: hào hứng (ta thường dùng excited about)
- Expert in/ at: giỏi cái gì
