Mình sẽ hướng dẫn cho bạn cách làm một vài câu đầu tiên trước nhé, rồi ngày mai mình sẽ giúp bạn tiếp.
1) Từ nên được điền ở chỗ trống sẽ là một tính từ (adjective), vì từ đó sẽ dùng để miêu tả danh từ đứng sau nó, areas. Ở đây có 2 tính từ, depressing và depressed, thì tính từ có đuôi -ed để chỉ cảm xúc của con người, mang tính chủ quan; còn đuôi -ing để mô tả sự vật và hoàn cảnh, mang tính khách quan. Ví dụ tương tự: interested - interesting, bored - boring, etc.
2) Từ nên được điền ở chỗ trống sẽ là một danh từ (noun). Ở đây có 2 danh từ, terrorism và terrorist. Terrorist là từ để chỉ một người khủng bố hoặc ủng hộ khủng bố, và trong trường hợp này không có một terrorist cụ thể nào có thể làm ảnh hưởng đến cả thế giới cả. Terrorism thì là sự khủng bố hoặc chính sách khủng bố, và đương nhiên có thể gây ảnh hưởng đến national security around the world, an ninh quốc gia trên toàn thế giới.
3) Ở đây, câu đầu có nghĩa là: không ai có thể tiên đoán được tương lai một cách chính xác. Mọi thứ có thể xảy ra một cách không lường trước được. Xét về mặt định nghĩa, thì đáp án đúng ở đây sẽ là 1 trong 2 từ: unexpected hoặc unexpectedly. Unexpected là tính từ, nghĩa là không lường trước được (ví dụ: My life in university will be unexpected.). Unexpectedly là trạng từ (adverb), nghĩa là một cách không lường trước được. Trong trường hợp này phải sử dụng trạng từ vì đó là từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ (verb) happen ở phía trước.
4) Từ đứng đầu câu và bổ nghĩa cho cả câu sẽ là một trạng từ Ở đây, credible và incredible là tính từ, incredibility là danh từ, và từ duy nhất là trạng từ là incredibly.
5) Từ nên được điền ở chỗ trống sẽ là một danh từ. Ở đây có 2 danh từ là contributors (những người đóng góp) và contribution (sự đóng góp). Vì trước chỗ trống là a list of, một danh sách bao gồm, nên từ được điền sẽ ở dạng số nhiều (plural), là contributors.
