I was walking down the street to school. It was a quite warm, sunny Winter morning. Giving more details, it was the 21st of February. Me and my best friend, Jenny, were discussing our new school project. As we were near our school building, I saw a man running quickly in our direction. I felt confused and a little nervous. I wondered why was he running so fast. I spotted that Jenny was a little frightened as well. He didn't look friendly at all. As soon as he passed us, I heard an alarm coming from the jewelry store. I felt something telling me to chase him, as I was a fast runner. Leaving my bag by Jenny, I ran towards him. The police car was just behind us. I felt a little pain in my stomach, but as well pride. I speeded up, and with a grab of my hand pushed him towards the floor. I never knew I was able to do something like that. Afterwards, the police came and arrested the thief. They thanked me for my help, but I still wasn't able to answer. It all passed quickly, and I felt proud of what I did! The people stared at the whole situation, surprised at what can happen so early in the morning.
