Nếu là did thì câu sẽ như thế này: Did Lan use to ... ?
Nhưng câu hỏi ở đây là cấu trúc "be use to + V_ing" nên đáp án đúng là writing (Bạn hiểu nhầm)

1)bạn fai lấy chủ ngữ là they, people,... chứ vì các chủ ngữ đó khi chuyển sang bị động sẽ bị lược bỏ a'
