- “Now” is used for the present tense. It is used usually with the present continuous, present perfect, and simple present tenses.
Ex: Now she lives in Atlanta. Now she has been living in Atlanta, etc.
- “Then” is used for the past tense like the simple past. It can also be used for the continuous past also.
Ex: Then she lived in Boston. Then she had been living in Boston.
