Modern societies need specialists in certain fields, but not in others. Some people therefore think that governments should pay university fees for students who study subjects that are needed by society.

Those who choose to study less relevant subjects should not receive government funding.

Would the advantages of such an educational policy outweigh the disadvantages?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.

Bài mình viết về Disadvantage với outline sau, bạn có thể tham khảo nha
1. Introduction: Disadvantage
2. Body 1: Advantage (Viết sơ qua 1 chút về khía cạnh mình cho là ít ảnh hưởng hơn)
3. Body 2: Disadvantage ( Nhấn mạnh đoạn này)
4. Conclusion

In recent decades, finding experts in certain fields has become ubiquitous in many countries. As a result, it is believed that the government should only provide funds to the scholars studying the related curriculum, as opposed to fewer related course specialists. While this development may bring about some benefits, I believe that in a sustainable city, the contribution of each field is required, and I explain it in this essay below.

On the one hand, it is clear that providing scholarships to students who study subjects that are relevant to the needs of society at that time would bring about several advantages. It encourages more students to study that particular subject, thus ensuring that there are sufficient workers in the desired field. A nation can attract more employees in the health or education specialisations by waiving tuition fees and providing scholarships as well as monetary grants to outstanding students and current students, typically in Vietnam, for example.

On the other hand, the disadvantages of this development would prove to be more important. Paying tuition only to a selected group of university students could have a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, discrimination and unfairness are phenomena that affect almost all students. They should be appreciated because all subjects require equal amounts of hard work, talent, and dedication. Secondly, this development would create disturbance in the community. Should certain disciplines be designated as superior and entitled to scholarships, people will start pursuing those courses whether they have an interest in them or not. It will ultimately reduce student productivity and unbalance the professions. In addition, this also promotes the misconception that some fields are more "advanced" than others, and restricts the students' freedom of career choice.

In conclusion, in spite of having some benefits, only paying university fees for students who study subjects that are needed by society shows effects on the disadvantage side. The government should take the right measures to provide the best conditions for students and professionals in all fields.
