Đối với câu hỏi có từ để hỏi: H/Wh
Bước 1: Đổi sang câu thường
Bước này phức tạp hơn dạng 1, để làm được bước này các em phải biết chia nó làm 3 loại
- Loại từ để hỏi WH làm chủ từ: (sau nó không có trợ động từ do, does, did mà có động từ + túc từ)
What made you sad? (điều gì làm bạn buồn?)
Who has met you? (ai đã gặp bạn?)
Loại này khi đổi sang câu thường vẫn giữ nguyên hình thức mà không có bất cứ sự thay đổi nào
- Loại từ để hỏi WH làm túc từ: (sau nó có trợ động từ do, does, did hoặc động từ đặc biệt + chủ từ)
What do you want?
Who will you meet?
Khi đổi sang câu thường sẽ chuyển WH ra sau động từ
- Loại chữ hỏi WH là trạng từ: là các chữ: when, where, how, why
When did you make it?
Giữ nguyên chữ hỏi, đổi giống như dạng câu hỏi yes/no
Bước 2: Đổi sang bị động
Bước 3:
Đổi trở lại câu hỏi có chữ hỏi (đem WH ra đầu câu)
Ví dụ minh họa 1 (WH là túc từ, có trợ động từ)
What did Mary take?
Bước 1:
Đổi sang câu thường: Có trợ động từ did => What là túc từ :bỏ did, chia động từ take thành quá khứ vì did là dấu hiệu của quá khứ, đem what ra sau động từ:
=> Mary took what.
Bước 2:
Đổi sang bị động
=> What was taken by Mary.
Bước 3:
Đổi trở lại câu hỏi nghi vấn: (vì lúc này what là chủ từ rồi nên không có gì thay đổi nữa)
=> What was taken by Mary?
Ví dụ minh họa 2 (WH là túc từ, có động từ đặc biệt)
Who can you meet?
Bước 1:
Đổi sang câu thường: Có động từ đặc biệt can, Who là túc từ: chuyển ra sau động từ meet, you là chủ từ: chuyển can ra sau chủ từ you
=> you can meet who.
Bước 2:
Đổi sang bị động: làm các bước như bài 1
=> Who can be met by you?
Bước 3:
Đổi trở lại câu hỏi nghi vấn: (vì lúc này who là chủ từ rồi nên không có gì thay đổi nữa)
=> Who can be met by you?
Ví dụ minh họa 3 (WH là chủ từ)
Who took Mary to school?
Bước 1:
Đổi sang câu thường: Sau who là động từ + túc từ => who là chủ từ => đổi sang câu thường vẫn giữ nguyên hình thức
=> Who took Mary to school
Bước 2:
Đổi sang bị động: làm các bước như bài 1
=> Mary was taken to school by who
Bước 3:
Đổi trở lại câu hỏi nghi vấn: (vì lúc này là câu hỏi nên who phải ở đầu câu)
=> Who was Mary taken to school by?
Nếu By đem ra đầu thì who phải đổi thành whom:
=> By whom was Mary taken to school?

E xem lại câu 42 và 44 nhé.
Câu 42 thì e lưu ý công thức của thể bị động. Trạng từ chỉ thời gian lun đc đặt ở cuối cùng. Và chủ thể bị động đc nói đến ở đây là những cuốn sách => chia số nhiều.
=> Câu đúng phải là: "What books are being read this year?"
Câu 44, đây là 1 câu khá hay. Vì câu hỏi hỏi chủ ngữ chứ ko phải tân ngữ. Do đó, e phải chia bị động của chủ ngữ chỉ người là "By whom"
